Bio
Writing has always been a lifelong dream.
A few years ago, I ventured into the world of Western Fiction. I am honored to have a great team: Dusty Saddles Publishing, Nick Wale - Publicist, and Katrina Achey - Social Media Guru. I have several Western Series on Amazon: Chet Henderson: Texas Ranger Adventure Series, Bear Willis: Mountain Man Series, and Willie McGee: Mountain Man Series.
I also received the 2023 Robert Hanlon Award for Excellence in Western Storytelling.
I'm honored to have co-authored books with some of the top Western Authors. Last year, my talented granddaughter and I also co-authored two novels "Willie McGee and the Great Western" and "Fearless: Twenty-five Fearless Frontier Women.". In creating my Westerns, I wanted to do three things: be authentic, create likable characters, and tell a good story.
I also like to add real-life people to my stories and to be historically accurate. Most of my stories will also include some survival tips that were used by Mountain Men.
With a lot of hard work and prayer, my books have been well received, so I must be doing something right.
